What is the procedure for using a contraceptive pill to regulate my cycle?

Last Updated on

It is possible to use a combined contraceptive pill in order to regulate your menstrual cycle and in turn control the timing of your treatment.  The pill is taken for 21 days then you break for 7 days.  When you stop the pill on day 21 your period will begin approx. 3-4 days later.  You then begin the new pill cycle after the 7 day break thus regulating your cycle to 28 days.  We can then plan ahead for your treatment date.
