IVF in Cyprus for UK Patients | Affordable IVF Abroad | EuroCARE IVF

Considering IVF abroad from the UK? EuroCARE IVF in Cyprus offers all-inclusive packages from €3,000, gender selection availability, no NHS waiting lists & 80+% success rates. Free consultation.

IVF in Cyprus for UK Patients — Affordable, Legal & No Waiting Lists

Every year, thousands of UK couples choose to have IVF abroad — and Cyprus has become one of the most popular destinations for British patients. Lower costs, shorter waiting times, access to treatments unavailable on the NHS or through private UK clinics, and the warm, stress-free environment of the Mediterranean all play a part.

At EuroCARE IVF in North Cyprus, we welcome UK patients every week. Our dedicated UK patient line, English-speaking coordinators, and all-inclusive packages are designed to make your journey from the UK as smooth and worry-free as possible.

Why UK Patients Choose EuroCARE IVF in Cyprus

There are five reasons UK patients consistently choose Cyprus — and EuroCARE — over staying in the UK for private treatment:

1. Significantly Lower Cost Than UK Private Clinics

A single IVF cycle at a private UK clinic typically costs between £5,000 and £8,000 once medication, monitoring scans and add-ons are included. At EuroCARE IVF, our treatments start from €3,000 depending on your personalized plan.

2. No NHS Waiting Lists — Start Treatment on Your Timeline

NHS IVF funding criteria are strict and waiting lists are long — in many areas, couples wait 12–24 months before treatment even begins. At EuroCARE, there are no waiting lists. Once you’ve had your free virtual consultation and completed your pre-treatment tests at home, we can schedule your treatment cycle around your timeline.

3. Gender Selection — Not Available in the UK

Gender selection for family balancing is prohibited in the UK under HFEA regulations. In North Cyprus, it is offered with medical discretion at EuroCARE IVF using PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy) — the most advanced method available, with over 99% accuracy. If family balancing is part of your journey, Cyprus is one of very few European destinations where this is possible.

4. Anonymous Egg Donation — Unlike the UK

Since 2005, the UK removed donor anonymity — meaning any child born from donor eggs can request the donor’s identity at age 18. Many UK patients prefer anonymous donation and choose Cyprus specifically for this reason. At EuroCARE, all egg donors remain fully anonymous. You receive a comprehensive donor profile covering physical characteristics, education and health screening — but donor identity is never disclosed.

5. Treatment for Women Over 45 — Beyond UK Age Limits

Most UK private clinics stop treating women with their own eggs at around 42–45. In North Cyprus, EuroCARE can offer treatment up to the age of 55 (subject to individual assessment and medical approval). If you’ve been turned away by a UK clinic due to age, we may still be able to help.

At EuroCARE IVF, we’re committed to providing you with the best IVF in Cyprus. Our experienced team is here to support you through every stage of your journey, ensuring you have the highest quality care and the best possible chance of success.

North Cyprus & IVF

North Cyprus operates under its own Ministry of Health regulations. It permits gender selection for medical purposes, maintains strict donor anonymity, and allows treatment for women up to age 55. EuroCARE IVF is based in Nicosia, North Cyprus — meaning UK patients have access to the full range of treatments that are either unavailable or unaffordable at home.

UK passport holders do not require a visa to enter North Cyprus. Direct flights are available from most major UK airports to Larnaca Airport (LCA) or a short layover in Turkey if flying into Ercan Airport (ECN).

Your IVF Journey from the UK — Step by Step

One of the biggest concerns UK patients have about IVF abroad is the logistics. Here is exactly what your journey with EuroCARE looks like from first contact to positive pregnancy test.

Step 1 — Free Virtual Consultation (From Home)

Your journey begins with a free virtual consultation with one of our patient coordinators. This is done via video call from the comfort of your home. We’ll discuss your medical history, treatment options, expected timeline and costs. There’s no obligation and no pressure.

Step 2 — Pre-Treatment Tests at Home (Weeks 1–3)

Following your consultation, we’ll provide you with a list of blood tests and scans to complete locally in the UK with a EuroCARE provided list of our partnered clinics and physicians throughout the UK. These tests include hormone levels (AMH, FSH, LH), a transvaginal ultrasound, and viral screening for both partners. Your EuroCARE coordinator will guide you through exactly what’s needed and where to get it done.

Step 3 — Medication at Home (Weeks 2–4)

Once your test results are reviewed by our medical team, your stimulation protocol is prescribed. Medication is taken at home in the UK via self-administered injections over 8–12 days. Your coordinator will walk you through the process and is available to answer questions throughout.

Step 4 — Travel to Cyprus (Days 8–10 Stay)

You’ll fly to Cyprus when your follicles reach the right size — your coordinator monitors this remotely using scan results from your local clinic. EuroCARE can assist with airport transfers and recommend accommodation options.

Step 5 — Treatment at EuroCARE (In Clinic)

Once in Cyprus, you’ll have your trigger injection, egg retrieval under light sedation, fertilisation using ICSI, embryo development monitoring, and embryo transfer — all within your stay. If you’ve opted for PGT-A (gender selection or genetic screening), embryo biopsy and testing takes place during this period.

Step 6 — Fly Home and Wait

Most patients fly home 24–48 hours after embryo transfer. Your pregnancy blood test (beta-hCG) is done 12 days later — this can be arranged at your local GP or a private clinic in the UK. Your EuroCARE coordinator remains in contact throughout the two-week wait and beyond.
